Salmon Shark Snorkeling Expedition Trip Report 2022
Another hugely successful trip to snorkel with Salmon Sharks in Alaska! As usual the salmon shark snorkeling took place each morning when the sharks are most active. Later in the day the guests dove on moon jelly blooms and reefs, and enjoyed terrestrial encounters including photo shoots with bald eagles catching fish in the Bay.
I did not lead this year’s trip, but accomplished photographer Corey Sean Ricketts was on the boat and was kind enough to share his portfolio of salmon shark shots from the trip. Clearly, the encounters were excellent!
